Enemies and enemy animations
Hello everyone, and welcome to another Devlog!
Yesterday, we added some gunplay to our game, along with new enemies and animations for those enemies. Our goal is to make the gunplay incredibly fun—think John Wick levels of excitement. For example, if you shoot one enemy three times and then switch to another, you can take down the second enemy with a single shot. Over time, we’ll be adding more unique mechanics to keep things fresh.
Now that we’ve implemented enemies and their mechanics, we can start placing enemy camps in different parts of the map and even introduce ambush mechanics. There will also be various types of enemies to keep players on their toes. And don’t worry about running out of bullets! As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve integrated an energy system into the game. Instead of bullets, your weapon will use energy, and every enemy you defeat will recharge it.
We’re also working on making animation transitions smoother for a more polished feel.
On top of that, we’ve added a dialogue system. This system will allow you to shape the story as you play, adding depth and player agency to the game.
